Mowing, Masses, Military Men

Well, tomorrow is the big day here in Kalamazoo.

The official Idiot of the United States will be here to give his token speech.

Sadly enough, all my cool anti-Bush friends have to work on Monday, so I will be protesting alone.

So...if any of you in Kzoo that read this site (I know I flatter myself) and are going to the speech to protest, please, please, please, please let me know because I would love the company!!

When I was at Lowe's today getting mulch, I also purchased a grape tomato plant. I am so excited. I just wish the weather would finally warm up and stay that way so I could plant the annuals and the vegetables.

So PornDave the neighbor fighting in Iraq should be home next weekend. I am really happy for Mary and her daughter because he has been gone for over a year and a half.

It's such bullshit - he is in the Army National Guard. Gee, National Guard, doesn't that mean you stay here in our NATION and GUARD here?

I think he was pretty freaked out when he had to go there for such a long duration. I just hope when he comes home he doesn't have some post traumatic stress syndrome psychotic break and open fire on Tracy and I and all our friends having a Patio Party.

I can tell you that for the 30 days that he is on leave and at home I plan to be very, very quiet. If I am lucky, the damn dog will be quiet too. He already hates Casey, the last thing I need is to have her barking her fool head off outside.

Weird Walter across the street has starting the grass mowing frenzy which means that all of us have to start mowing now. Damn it, I hate it when he prematurely mows.

Today on the Discovery Channel I watched the most amazing medical procedure. This woman from Michigan had a 200 lb. tumor removed at a hospital in Chicago. She has a rare condition which causes irregular tumor growths throughout her body.

The surgery was like 18 hours long and she had lost and had put back into her over six times the regular amount of blood that normally pulses through your veins daily. Miraculously, she lived and is doing absolutely fine.

Tracy could hardly watch parts of it, but I was glued to the television. I want to start nursing school right now. I cannot wait - I specifically want to be a surgery nurse or trauma nurse. I am so excited.

I guess that is all for tonight folks!
